Nutrigo Lab Regeneration, Product Overview
Nutrigo Lab Regeneration is a post-workout food supplement that has been specifically designed to aid in muscle regeneration and recovery. Its purpose is to accelerate the process of muscle regeneration, replenish lost energy, and reduce pain associated with intense exercise, including DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness).
Heavy workouts put enormous strain on your body – you’re literally shocking it into adapting and responding to physical stress placed upon it by intense exercise. For serious weightlifters, powerlifters, and other athletes who strength-train multiple times a week, the need to recover and recharge quickly, and give their body the chance to get ready for the next workout in order to perform at their optimal best, is a must.
Manufactured by KeyPlayers Ltd, Nutrigo Lab Regeneration has been produced to encourage optimum recovery and muscle growth after intense workouts and is a multi-component food supplement containing a mix of natural active ingredients. In this Nutrigo Lab Regeneration Review, I’ll be looking at these claims in more detail, searching for user testimonials, adding in my own experience of the product, and trying to offer a balanced and fair review into the effectiveness of this supplement and whether it’s worth the investment.

A Brief Insight Into KeyPlayer Limited
This supplement is made by KeyPlayer Ltd whose headquarters are in Dubai. They are an established company with extensive experience in health and beauty products and now one of the leading manufacturers of cosmetic and personal care products with distribution worldwide including Europe, Asia and North America.
Before I made my initial purchase, I did my due diligence and researched the company, unable to find any incriminating information or complaints. More information on KeyPLayer Limited can be found here.
How Does Nutrigo Lab Regeneration Work, And What Are The Ingredients?
Each serving of Nutrigo Lab Regeneration contains the following active ingredients that make up 90% of the recommended 20g serving:
- 5000mg of Optipep protein hydrolysate
Optipep protein is a hydrolysate which means it is very quickly absorbed into the body. It does this by bypassing the metabolic process (digestion) to quickly penetrate your muscle tissue. Developed for professional competitors it’s also known to help those following low calorie diets (cutting phases) due to its low fat and carbohydrate content. Research documenting the efficacy of Optipep can be found here.
- 5000 mg of PeptoPro casein hydrolysate
PeptoPro is a casein peptide formulation derived from dairy protein that delivers all 20 amino acids in the form of di-peptides and tri-peptides molecules – needed for muscle protein synthesis (where protein is produced in the body to repair muscle tissue). It’s also fat and lactose-free. Protein hydrolysates in this form have been shown through studies to support the maintenance and growth of lean muscle mass.
- 4000mg of BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids)
BCAAs are a group of three essential amino acids (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) that can’t be produced by the body. BCAA supplements are well-regarded in their effects at helping to build muscle, reduce muscle fatigue and alleviate muscle soreness.
- 1000mg of Citrulline Malate
Citrulline is naturally produced by the body in small amounts and can also be found in foods such as watermelon. Creating high levels of citrulline has been shown in studies to produce benefits on overall health as well as in performance during exercise and increase levels of GH – the body’s growth hormone which aids in building muscle (hypertrophy). It also helps to increase blood flow and improve circulation.
- 1000mg of AAKG 2:1 (Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate)
AAKG is an amino acid that’s been shown to help increase pump and vascularity as well as improve the delivery of blood, nutrients and oxygen to the muscles during exercise.
By combining these active ingredients, into one post-workout supplement, Nutrigo penetrates your muscles with the nutrients they need to provide optimal regeneration and support, and at a far quicker rate than many similar supplements on the market. Optipep protein and PeptoPro casein hydrolysate ensure the highest and most immediate absorbability in order to maximise the anabolic window that is created within the 30 minutes straight after a workout.
Who Should Use It?
This supplement is designed for those looking to support their body’s ability to recover after intense workouts, allowing super-fast delivery of key quality proteins, caseins and amino acids to the muscles quickly to enhance muscle recovery as well as strength and mass gains.
Having the ability to reduce muscle soreness and fatigue and maintain good energy levels means you’re well primed to recover and hit your next workout with the same level of intensity to continue pushing your body to help obtain the results you are after.
How To Take Nutrigo Lab Regeneration
Taking the supplement post-workout is really easy and clearly laid out on the tub. A two-scoop serving of approximately 20g in 200 ml of water mixed in a glass or protein shaker is all that’s required.
Now I usually find the taste of a lot of protein shakes and performance-enhancing supplements in powder form a bit ‘plastic’ tasting, in fact some I’ve been unable to finish without holding my nose! Available in Strawberry flavour, the taste of Nutrigo isn’t actually bad – obviously it’s not every going to be anywhere near as natural tasting as the real thing, but that ‘synthetic’ taste really wasn’t as powerful with this shake as I’ve found with others. It would be nice to have it available in some other flavours (I tend to be able to stomach chocolate the best) but, to be honest, as long as its tolerable I’m more interested in the results than anything else!
Nutrigo Lab Regeneration has also been tested to ensure it is safe, but it’s always worth making certain you’re not allergic to any of the key ingredients and check with a health professional if you are unsure, pregnant or breast feeding.
User Reviews And My Experience Of Taking It
As this is a new supplement on the market, there are very limited other user reviews out there, apart from those on the Nutrigo web page, but considering they don’t even have a name against them I’m wary whether these are legitimate or not.
My own experience
I was pleasantly surprised at the effect it had on my training recovery. I generally suffer from DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) especially as I’m always switching my workout routines up every 3-4 weeks to try and avoid plateaus and keep my body guessing/working hard. I continually up my weight and reps each week too to ensure my strength is always progressing. Whilst this isn’t the case for everyone, this can tend to lead to muscle soreness, and for me I get this quite easily – sometimes, especially after leg day, I can really suffer for several days afterwards and it can affect the quality of my next workout where I’m targeting those same muscles.
I have to say within one week I was experiencing significantly less soreness than usual, and by the time I was back in the gym that strain and soreness I usually feel was almost completely gone. Over three months of use I was continually managing to smash my PBs on my deadlifts – going from 187Ilbs to 231 Ilbs, and my chest press increased from 149 Ilbs up to 187 Ilbs.
Now to caveat this slightly, I did also start to use a pre-workout during this time which gave me a mountain of energy and an insane pump – read my review on the Nutrigo Lab Strength pre-workout for more information. However, considering I’ve always felt slightly below par when going into the gym (home or otherwise) with muscle soreness from my previous workout and unable to give it my all, I know my gains have always suffered slightly. And I’ve never been able to increase my lifts so significantly in such a relatively short space of time. So I’m convinced this has contributed positively to that, and I’m really happy with the results – so much so I’ve just ordered the Best Value Package (six tubs) and I’m happy to continue buying as long as I continue to see results!
Of course the effect of supplements vary from person to person and I can’t guarantee what has worked for me will work for everyone. It would be useful to have other user reviews to compare my experience with to get a broader picture, but if my user testimonial is enough then by all means, give it a try!

My only negative here is the cost of shipping which is £8 ($10 USD) regardless of the amount of tubs you buy – perhaps an underhand way of trying to convince you to buy the bigger packages. Shipping was fast however and within the 48 hours they promise on their website.

My Final Verdict
I hope this Nutrigo Lab Regeneration review has provided you with a bit more insight into Nutrigo Lab Regeneration and that there is enough information here for you to decide whether it’s something you’d like to try or not -certainly based on my own experience, and the research I’ve done, it’s a product I’d recommend.
Although it’s expensive compared to other, similar, post-workout supplements, I really do believe in getting what you pay for. For me, quality and effectiveness are key and if I can get the results I’m looking for then I don’t mind paying (a little!) bit extra. To offset the price you can always go for the bigger packages, and if you’re unhappy then KeyPlayer Limited do offer a 90-day refund policy- so that should bring some peace of mind.
As with any supplement, remember that it’s not a magic solution and, as the name suggests, is there to ‘supplement’ the hard work you put in to help you to reach your goals faster. Combine this with a solid workout schedule and good nutrition and I can’t see why Nutrigo Lab Regeneration shouldn’t work for you too.
If you do decide to give it a try, let me know how you get on and share your results and experience – good or not so good – to help others make up their mind.
